Pegasus Cheer Athletics will rebrand to Zone Athletics to reflect growth.
(BELLEVILLE, ON, May 1, 2023) – On Saturday, April 29th, 2023, Pegasus Cheer Athletics, Quinte’s only All Star competitive cheerleading program, announced it is introducing a new brand. The rebrand to Zone Athletics reflects the way the recreational sports facility has grown and expanded in recent years.
The company was founded in 2014 as a cheerleading gym but grew to offer recreational cheerleading, tumbling, and parkour classes, in addition to PA Day camps, summer and holiday camps, and birthday parties. In the last three years, the athletic facility has expanded their programs and camps to almost double its size, as well as adding a second unit to their facility.
The company will change its name to Zone Athletics, as well as release a new logo and website redesign, to better demonstrate their growing business and programs.
“Our programs have grown beyond offering just cheerleading teams. This new name represents that change. We’re very excited to introduce it to the Bay of Quinte,” said Liz Yntema, Founder and CEO of Pegasus Cheer Athletics and Zone Athletics. “We look forward to introducing more classes, camps, events, and birthday parties under our new name to individuals and families in the area for years to come.”
She noted that their original brand, Pegasus Cheer Athletics, will remain in place but focus solely on their growing All Star competitive cheerleading program that competes at events throughout the province, nationally and internationally. This past season, the gym saw 116 athletes on their cheerleading teams, their largest registration to date.
