Welcome to Pegasus Cheer, where we offer a variety of cheer programs designed to inspire and empower athletes of all ages and abilities. From our introductory Cheer 101 class to our All Star Elite teams, there’s something for everyone to love about cheerleading. Join us and discover the joy of cheering with Pegasus Cheer!

RECREATIONAL CHEER

CHEER FUNDAMENTALS

Want to try cheerleading before Season 12 starts in May? Our Cheer FUNdamentals class is the perfect fit!

Athletes will focus on building their FUNdamental stunting skills, the main component in competitive cheerleading, while learning new skills, making friends, and having fun.

This class runs for twice a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.) for 3 weeks and ends right before our Season 12 tryouts or Assessment Clinics. Suitable for boys and girls ages 7 to 15 years old, this class is great for beginners and those with some cheer experience.

PRESCHOOL CHEER

Does your toddler or preschooler love to jump, roll, and dance all around the house? They will love our Preschool Cheer classes!

Great for boys and girls ages 2 to 6 years old, these classes teach beginners the basics of the sport of cheerleading, including motions, jumps, and floor positions, while introducing the concept of teamwork.

We run four preschool sessions a year starting in January, May, July, and September.

**BONUS** Registration in any of our preschool classes also includes FREE access to all of our Play Zone while your class is running.

FALL REC CHEERLEADING

Perfect for the cheerleader in your life! Athletes will learn the basics of performance cheer, including motions, jumps, and floor positions. This team learns a 1-minute routine from September to December before performing it at their final practice to family and friends. Great for beginners and those with some cheer experience. Suitable for boys and girls ages 4 to 12 years old!

Registration opens in August 2025.

WINTER REC CHEER

Perfect for the cheerleader in your life! Athletes will learn the basics of performance cheer, including motions, jumps, and floor positions. This team learns a 1-minute routine from January to April before performing it at our local Showcase, Wings Up. Great for beginners and those with some cheer experience. Suitable for boys and girls ages 4 to 12 years old!

Registration opens in November 2025.

ADULT TEAM

Exclusive to athletes ages 18 and older, this low-pressure, low-commitment, and high-fun team is perfect for those looking to learn more about cheerleading or get back into the sport!

Athletes do not need previous experience in cheerleading, dance, gymnastics, or tumbling to participate. All abilities, genders, and experience levels are welcome.

This recreational team practices 1 hour once per week from February to April. They will be active each week, meet new adult friends, learn a routine, and receive a team t-shirt. This team will perform at our local end-year showcase, Wings Up (no travel or competitions!).

COMPETITIVE CHEER TEAMS

FULL YEAR CHEER

At Pegasus Cheer, we offer three different team experiences — Novice, Allstar Prep, and Allstar Elite. Team streams range in time, financial, competitive, and family commitment.

Anyone interested in joining a competitive team is guaranteed a spot on one of our Novice teams. Anyone interested in joining an All Star Prep or All Star Elite team must complete an assessment.

Registration is open for the 2025-2026 season with tryouts held in May 2025.

Want to experience the fun of All Star Cheerleading with low commitment and affordable tuition? Our Seasonal Novice Team is perfect for you and your family! These teams practice once per week from September to March and perform at two events.

Are you a strong tumbler or stunter and want to show off your skills? We also offer competitive Indys, Duos, and Stunt Groups. These 1-minute routines are meant to showcase your best skills in a level. Training commitment, performance uniforms, and competition schedules are flexible!

Indys, Duos, and Stunt Groups are now closed for the 2024-2025 season. Registration will open in August 2025 for the 2025-2026 season.

CHEERLEADING SPECIAL ABILITIES

At Pegasus Cheer Athletics we offer:

  • Competitive cheerleading and pom teams or individual routines for athletes with special needs
  • Recreational cheerleading for athletes with special needs
  • Open to any athlete, age 3 & older, with an intellectual disability, with or without a physical disability
  • Extra coaches, coaches in training, and athlete assistants will be allowed on the floor with the athletes when they compete
  • Same training as other athletes with careful consideration of any limitations necessary for safe participation
